The Iron, Cobalt & Spot Etching Stuff will normally remove these stains easily and effectively within 48 hours, with minimal rebalancing of other pool chemical products.Dosage: 2 lbs per 12,000 gallons. NOTE: Please use a Stain Identification Kit first to ensure you are purchasing the correct product. The use of a sequestrant is required to filter out the stain.

I followed the instructions to the letter. I was hesitant after reading some of the reviews, but decided to go forward. After putting in the product in the pool, I waited the 48 hours. Nothing changed. I was very disappointed. I just left the pump running. After a couple more days, it seemed like there was less stain, so I left the pump running. The next day, the stain was almost gone. I am very happy that I decided to use this product.
